June 24th Writing Prompt- What’s your biggest fear about becoming a mom?
The only fear I have about becoming a mom is the fear of having it taken away from me. This is something I have wanted and waited for my entire life, and now that it’s happening I find myself constantly terrified that something will happen and take it all away.
In my heart and soul, I am already a mom. I am already nurturing my child…making decisions daily that affect my child…and constantly looking out for my child. I have already suffered one loss, and I don’t know how I’d make it through another….it’s really scary.
The other stuff doesn’t scare me. I will be a great mom, and I will provide for my child. Crackheads do it all the time- I think I can manage.
